Since August 2022, we have finalized the renovation of the old dovecote giving way to an independent two-floor cottage with an area of 2 x 32 m² and a beautiful terrace of 20 m² with a view of the valley and the Vercors.
Access is from the north side of the building with a large gravelled car park of 200 m².
The cottage has a maximum capacity of eight beds: two bedrooms with double bed (140 x 190 cm) located upstairs and two quality convertible sofas (140 x 190 cm) respectively on the ground floor and the floor. It is also possible to install up to two baby cots from 0 to 2 years old.
For your comfort, cleaning fees, sheets and towels are provided and included in the rate. The cottage has all the equipment you will need, including air conditioning per floor and in each room, a large fully equipped kitchen, while breakfasts are not included in the service.
A Weber gas barbecue is also available if you wish. You also have free, closed and secure bicycle storage.
For your breakfasts, we recommend the artisanal bakery La Mie Meyran located less than a kilometer in the center of the village.
Regarding your first meals, we can offer you on reservation jars cooked with fresh local products from our partner La Note Gourmande (based in Allex) and the formula starter/main course /dessert for 25€ per person.
You can also enjoy restaurants in Montmeyran, Chez Lilly (restaurant/pizzeria), Ti'Snack (caterer on site or take away), pizzeria Le Pendolino (take away), L'Auberge de Montalivet, or in the surrounding villages, for example in Beaumont-lès-Valence (L'Instant Présent) or Chabeuil (Le Café de La Poste at Nico, Ici et Là, L'Oberge).
The cottage is independent without access to the swimming pool of the guest house, however it is possible to privatize the entire building with a total capacity of 24 beds and fully enjoy the park, the swimming pool as well as all the equipment of La Grande Maison.
If you rent the cottage alone, you will still be able to take advantage of the many swimming sites located nearby during the summer, such as the rivers (The Drôme, The Gervanne, The Roanne, The Eyrieux, The Ardèche), the lakes (Beaumont-les-Valence : La Truite du Père Eugène, Etoile-sur-Rhône : Etoile Park 26, St Donat-sur-Herbasse : lac de Champos, St Barthélémy-de-Vals : lac des Vernets) or the pool complex with games at l’Epervière in Valence.
From the ideal location of the cottage, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide choice of activities whether cultural, relaxing, gastronomic, or sports, less than 30 minutes and each season of the year. For any question, we will be happy to advise you in advance or during your stay.
In terms of conditions, we will ask you for a 50% deposit on booking and the balance to be paid one week before your arrival. The check-in / check-out times are identical to the guest house with arrival possible from 4:00 pm and departure no later than 11:00 am. Depending on reservations and your wishes, we can adapt these times as best as possible. We also ask for stays of a minimum duration of two nights.
